We are a family run waterfront eatery located in the historic Hotwalls Barracks. Run by a fantastic team of staff, we have been lucky enough to be serving the people of Old Portsmouth and beyond since July 2016.
With our enthusiastic team of chefs led by Head Chef Gavin Wight, busy in the kitchen, we offer a delicious brunch & lunch.
And our bountiful servery truly is a feast for the eyes!
Our Deck is a must-see in all weathers. Located at the mouth of the harbour, we have the best spot to watch all the goings on in the Solent. Get a front row seat of the magnificent Queen Elizabeth Aircraft Carrier on her travels, or just enjoy the busy waterway goings on. Ships and boats big and small, pass by within inches of our deck, enjoyed by our customers in the comfort of our cosy blankets, or whilst enjoying a chilled Sauvignon on a hot day!
On sunny days throughout the summer months, come down and sample our selection of Judes Ice Creams from our Ice Cream Hut located next to Studio No 1 in the Hotwalls Studios.
Local artists in residence at The Hotwalls Studios have become a firm part of our Canteen community, regularly joining us for their coffee and lunch breaks. As our neighbours, we offer all artists 25% discount, so if you’re new to the community be sure to mention it when paying your bill!
