Burns Night commemorates the life of the bard (poet) Robert Burns, celebrating his contribution to Scottish culture. In his short life, he composed a vast catalogue of poetry and songs that have been poured over, enjoyed and spoken aloud for more than 200 years; his best known works including
‘To a Mouse’, ‘A Man’s a Man for A’ That’ and ‘Auld Lang Syne’.
