We are a waterfront restaurant located in the historic barracks in the Hotwalls. Run by a fantastic team of staff, we have been lucky enough to be serving the people of Old Portsmouth and beyond since July 2016.
The arches in the Hotwalls have been left derelict for a number of years, so when the council announced their plans to regenerate the area, we were excited to get involved.
With our enthusiastic team of chefs led by Head Chef Stacey, busy in the kitchen, we offer a delicious global breakfast and lunch menu, and as the days grow longer into the summer, we extend our offering to dinner too.
We are continually adapting our food offering with the changing seasons and wherever possible our food is sourced locally, from independent suppliers. With our fresh fruit and veg from The Fruit Basket in Gosport, and daily bread deliveries from long-established Happy Toast Bakery, we enjoy building solid, long lasting relationships with local people who help us to put excellent food on your plate!
Our Deck is a must-see in all weathers. Located at the mouth of the harbour, we have the best spot to watch all the goings on in the Solent. Come and visit to get a front row seat of Ben Ainslie’s state of the art catamarans, or the magnificent Queen Elizabeth Aircraft Carrier. They all pass by within inches of our deck, enjoyed by our customers in the comfort of our cosy blankets, or whilst enjoying a chilled Sauvignon on a hot day!
And on sunny days throughout the summer months, be sure to come down and sample our selection of Judes Ice Creams from our Ice Cream Hut located next to Studio No 1 in the Hotwalls Studios. If you can’t find us just stick your nose in the air and follow
the smell of freshly made waffle cones…
